Tim Hoogland is a right back, born on 11 June 1985 in Marl, Germany.
At the age of 13 Tim Hoogland joined the Schalke 04 academy and spent five years there. His pro-football début came on 5 February 2005 in the match against Hansa Rostock, where he was substituted in the 75th minute.
After nine years in Gelsenkirchen, the footballer ended his Schalke spell with FSV Mainz 05 move.
On 12 January 2010, Tim returned to his first club and signed for ‘The Miners’ till 30 June 2014. In 2012 he was loaned to Stuttgart for the 2012/2013 season.
In 2014 Hoogland accepted the offer from Felix Magath and joined Fulham.
Hoogland is a twice Bundesliga runner-up and the holder of the DFB-Ligapokal and the DFB-Pokal. He was several times capped for the Germany national youth team.
