Timothy “Timmy” Chandler is a German-American football player, born on March 29, 1990 in Frankfurt. Chandler’s father was an American military man who served on the territory of Germany. Soon after Timothy’s birth his parents got divorced and the future footballer was raised only by his mother in the city of Hessen.
Timmy started playing in the club of Sportfreunde Oberau, where he spent six years. In 2001, he joined Eintracht Frankfurt and was a success representing first the U-15 squad and then becoming the U-17 junior league champion.
In the season 2007/08, he became the U-23 squad player and helped the team to qualify for the Regionalliga thereby making it a professional team. Timothy played for the second squad of Eintracht Frankfurt for two years and scored 8 goals in 50 matches.
In 2010, Chandler moved to FC Nürnberg to get there the positions of a defender and a wing-back. He was soon featured in the starting lineup of the reserve side and before long netted four goals for it. On October 8, 2010 he made his debut for the main team following which was constantly trusted a spot in the first eleven. In 2011, Timothy prolonged his agreement with the club till 2014.
In the summer 2014 Chandler moved to Eintracht Frankfurt.
