Tobias Weis was born in July 1985 in Schwäbisch Hall. He is a German football player.
Weis began his career with SC Bibersfeld in 1990 and joined SF Schwäbisch Hall after three years in the summer of 1993. He represented SF Schwäbisch Hall until July 1996, thereafter he was selected by VfB Stuttgart. Eight years passed in the youth team, and Weis became one of the reserves. The footballer performed three seasons for VfB Stuttgart II in the Regionalliga Süd. Shortly after that the footballer made his way into the first team where he, however, limited himself only to training. Tobias then returned to the reserve team and participated in a total of 75 matches, scoring 9 goals in 5 seasons.
Tobias Weis has been a Hoffenheim player since the summer of 2007. He made his debut against Borussia Mönchengladbach on 19 August 2007. On 20 April 2012, the footballer extended his deal with the side until 2016, which secured his position in the first team. Tobias performed for the squad in 80 matches, netting 1 goal. The player has been moved into the reserve team for 4 times.
In late 2008, Tobias was first called up to Germany national team for a friendly game against England, in which the footballer was to play but didn’t appear on the pitch. On 2 June 2009, Weis made his first appearance for the squad in a friendly against United Arab Emirates. He was substituted during the 66th minute.
