A Czech footballer Tomáš Mičola plays for Slavia Prague. He was born on 26 September 1988 in Opava.
Being born in Opava, Mičola’s first choice was obviously the youth department of his home-town. He was picked up by Banik Ostrava at age 16, where he spent the last two years of his junior career.
After grabbing his first pro contract with Brest, he became an official member of the senior club in the summer 2010.
On 21 August 2010, the Czech footballer made his first appearance in the France championship, having come on the field as a sub. The 2010/2011 season was lined with single goal in 20 matches.
In 2012 the player returned to the Czech Republic and joined the capital club Slavia.
He also played for youth national teams of Czechoslovakia since the U-16 level. In 2007, the striker with the team having a fast ascendance, they won silver medals in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
