Tomer Swisa is an Israeli striker, born on 21 December 1988. Tomer can play equally effective at centre forward and right attacking midfielder positions.
Tomer is an educatee of the FC Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona youth football academy. In 2008 the player was offered to sign the professional contract with the side and continued his development at his homeclub, giving a start to his senior level career. There he spent his first three professional seasons, scoring 17 goals in 71 appearances. The 2009/2010 season was really remarkable one, as the player helped his team to become the champions of Israel.
In 2011 Swisa was transferred to FC Ironi Nir from Ramat HaSharon, where he quickly established himself as an important first-team member. The player represented his new club 28 times throughout the season, being a part of starting XI in 27 of them. He left the club after the end of the campaign, adding 10 goals to his career stats.
The player’s next destination was another Israeli Premier League side FC Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
At the international level, the player is regularly called-up to join the Israel U-21 team starting from 2010.
