Tonny Trindade de Vilhena is a midfielder of Feyenoord. He was born on 3 January 1995 in Maassluis, Netherlands.
Tonny’s career took off in the youth team of VDL-Maassluis, but the talented footballer did not stay there for long, because he was noticed by the scouts of Rotterdam side Feyenoord. After joining the new club, de Vilhena spent three weeks in the football academy and made his début for ‘De club aan de Maas’ on 22 January 2012 in the away match against VVV-Venlo, coming on as a substitute for Kelvin Leerdam.
However, Tonny’s first appearance on the field came earlier, because he participated in the 2011 European U-17 Championship. The footballer impressed everyone during the competition and was called up to the full national squad the following year.
De Vilhena continues to perform for Feyenoord at the position of a left midfielder and wears number 21 shirt. The player made seven appearances during the 2011/2012 season, but did not manage to find the net.
