Vadim Gagloyev is a Russian midfielder, born on 18 January 1989.
Vadim started playing football at the age of seven under the guidance of his neighbor, who was a football coach.
When the player was twelve years old, he joined the CSKA Moscow football youth academy. Gagloyev spent seven years playing for the Moscow side, but made only one first-team start during the Russian Cup match against FC Mordovia.
In 2008 he decided to continue his career in FC Alania Vladikavkaz, where he made 22 appearances for the club. However, he lost his place in starting XI at the beginning of 2009, when the new head coach made it clear to the player, that the club wasn’t interested in his services anymore.
In 2009 Gagloyev joined the Russian Premier League side FC Amkar. He made only one first-team appearance during his first season at the club, but featured with the youth squad 26 times, scoring 4 goals on the way.
Vadim started the 2010 season as a first-team member, but made just 3 appearances during the first half of the season and was sent on loan to FC Tyumen.
The next year the player moved back to FC Alania and was almost immediately loaned to FC Nizhny Novgorod. The loan was a total success, as Gagloyev helped his club to finish third in the table, earning bronze medals of the championship. He was also named one of the best defensive midfielders of the division and intended to stay with the team, but the club was dissolved at the end of the season.
In the summer of 2012 Vadim returned to Amkar and signed a new two-year contract. However, in the summer 2013 he switched for relegated Mordovia Saransk.
Gagloyev also captained the Russia U17 national football team during the 2006 UEFA U17 Championship and returned home as the European champion.
