Valerio Di Cesare is an Italian centre-back who currently represents Brescia. He was born on May 23, 1983 in Rome, the capital of Italy.
Valerio has risen through the ranks of Lazio. He enjoyed an excellent year in the Biancocelesti`s youth team and immediately caught the attention of some of Europe`s top scouts. Finally the strong centre-back clinched a contract with Chelsea. However, Di Cesare failed to step up to the first XI and consequently made no senior appearances.
In January 2004 Valerio terminated his contract with the Blues and headed back to Italy. During the 2004-2008 period the imposing stopper defended the colours of Avellino, AlbinoLeffe, Catanzaro and Mantova. In 2008 Vicenza secured the capture of the player. Di Cesare figured 46 times and scored twice while performing for the club. In the summer of 2010 Torino acquired the footballer. After three years with the club Di Cesare switched for Brescia.
He has never represented his national team at any level so far.
