Vicente Iborra de la Fuente plays for Sevilla on a position of a midfielder, sometimes also employed as an attacking midfielder.
Vicente is a product of Levante’s youth system. He made his debut for the main squad in the season 2007/08 when some key players left the club because of its financial problems. The footballer appeared for the first time in the starting eleven of Levante in the Copa del Rey tournament facing Getafe on January 9, 2008. Four days later he was in the main squad for a home match against Real Madrid that was lost 0-2.
Iborra scored his first goal for Levante on March 30, 2008 when they were facing Almeria. Vicente netted a late winner making the eventual score 1-2. In the season 2009/10 Levante won their top-flight promotion. After that Iborra became one of the most frequently used players having taken the pitch in 36 games with one goal through the whole season. In total the player made 165 appearances for the Valencians during five seasons.
In the summer 2013 Sevilla offered 6 million euros for the talented midfielder and Iborra completed a move.
