Víctor Manuel Casadesús Castaño (or simply Victor) is a Spanish striker who currently performs for RCD Mallorca.
His career started at the youth system of the club Mallorca. He made his first main squad appearance in the season 2004/05 on April 17 during an encounter against Valencia. During the following several seasons he managed to create an impression of a useful footballer.
Víctor played the season of 2007/08 on a half-year loan at a Segunda side Real Sociedad. Having made 18 appearances he netted 5 goals, nevertheless the squad eventually failed to earn promotion to the highest division.
Right after his return Víctor was sent on loan again but this time for the whole season and to Gimnàstic de Terragona that also was enjoying its position in the second division. Having scored career-best 14 goals through the campaign the striker returned to Mallorca but found himself as an occasional replacement for Aritz Aduriz, taking the pitch more frequently during the Copa del Rey tournament. On January 14, 2010 Víctor was one of those who were in the start for a game against Rayo Vallecano but unfortunately he broke his clavicle thus falling out of play for quite a long period. Eventually the club took the 5th place winning the right to perform in the UEFA Europa League in the next season. Through all his time at Mallorca the footballer took the pitch 164 times scoring 29 goals.
His first appearance for the youth national team took place in 2004 when he performed for the U-19 squad in the European Championship. As they played in the final Víctor netted an equalizer making the score 2-2. The whole match ended in a draw and Ukraine, the other finalist of the tournament, beat Spain on penalties. Such a success paved his way to the U-21 squad.
