Viktor Fayzulin is a midfielder of Zenit St. Petersburg. He was born on 22 April 1986 in Nahodka, Russia. In 2008 the footballer was awarded the Honoured Master of Sports title.
Viktor’s career took off in local club Okean Nahodka in 2004. After making nine appearances for the club, the player was invited to SKA-Energia Khabarovsk, where he featured in 51 games and found the net eight times during two fruitful seasons.
In 2007 Fayzulin penned a contract with Spartak Nalchik and netted three goals in 28 fixtures for the new club during one season.
In 2008 the footballer penned a three-year contract with Zenit St. Petersburg.
Viktor performed for the Russia national youth team throughout the 2007/2008 season, made seven appearances and contributed three goals. In 2012 the player was capped three times and went on to net thrice for the full national squad.
The footballer has a whole clutch of awards, including the Russian Super Cup (2008 and 2011), the UEFA Cup (2008), the UEFA Super Cup (2008), the Russian Cup (2010), the golden medals of the Russian Premier League (2010 and 2012), and the bronze medal of the league (2009).
