Vitali Kaleshin is a defender for FC Krasnodar. He was born on 3 October, 1980 in Krasnodar, Russia. He is a graduate and a former player for the local junior club Kolos Krasnodar.
Most of his career Kaleshin spent in two clubs – Kuban Krasnodar and Lada Togliatti, having played four seasons for each. From 1999 to 2002 Vitali defended the colors of Lada Togliatti, totaling 126 games and 19 goals.
As part of Kuban Krasnodar Kaleshin made 150 appearances and netted 9 goals. In the 2008/09 season Vitali played for FC Moscow, where, in addition to the role of a back, he often joined the ranks of midfielders. In 2006 and 2007 Vitali was named the best player in the Krasnodar region.
Vitali performed for Rubin from 2009 to 2013, initially on loan, and since December of that same year – as a regular.
In 2013 Kaleshin switched to FC Krasnodar.
