Vitaliy Denisov is a Uzbekistani football defender at Lokomotiv Moscow and the Uzbekistan National Football Team.
Vitaliy Denisov trained playing football at the youth school of Pakhtakor Tashkent FC. His career continued at Sportakademklub Moscow FC, until the day when the footballer was recruited by CSKA Moscow PFC. Soon after his departure to CSKA Vitaliy Denisov was pulled out with an injury for 6 months. Having nursed the injury, the defender took part in 2 matches of the Russian Cup and was loaned to Spartak Nizhny Novgorod FC.
In 2007 Vitaliy Denisov signed a 3-year contract with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. He made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League on March 3, 2007. After a successful 5-year spell with Dnipro Vitaliy moved to Russia and joined Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2013.
In 2006 the footballer started playing for the Uzbekistan National Football Team.
He is the holder of the Russian Cup (2004/2005) and the UEFA Cup (2004/2005). In 2007 Vitaliy Denisov was named the Footballer of the Year in Uzbekistan.
