Vitaliy Postranskyi is a professional Ukrainian footballer currently playing as a goalkeeper for Zorya Luhansk FC. He was born on August 2, 1977 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union.
When Vitaliy Postranskyi was 5 years old, his family moved to Lviv. There the boy took up football seriously and went to a sports school.
The footballer’s professional career started in 1998 at Lviv FC. In 2000 Vitaliy Postranskyi moved to Russia to play for Rotor Volgograd FC but was only a substitute to other footballers. In 2001 he returned to the Ukraine and played for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih for one season.
From 2002 till 2005 the goalkeeper performed for Vorskla Poltava FC and from 2006 till 2009 he featured for Metalurh Zaporizhya FC. In 2009 Vitaliy Postranskyi signed up with Simurq PFC (Azerbaijan), but returned to the Ukraine the next year and played for Tavriya Simferopol SC (2010-2011) and Volyn Lutsk FC (2011-2012).
In 2012 Vitaliy Postranskyi signed for Zorya Luhansk FC.
