A Brazilian footballer Vítor Silva Assis de Oliveira Jr., or simply Vítor Júnior, is a midfielder of Corinthians. He was born on 15 September 1986 in Porto Alegre.
In 2004, Vitor was accepted to the academy of Internacional. In a year, he grabbed a pro contract with the club. Hardly had the pen was put on paper of the contract, when the midfielder was loaned out to Cruzeiro. The next year, he defended two clubs – Dinamo Zagreb and, later on, FC Koper, making 5 appearances for each of them. In 2007, Vitor spent time trying to make teams with Sport Recife and Santos.
In 2008, the midfielder moved to Japan, where he performed under the flag of Kawasaki Frontale during the next two years. In 2010, he returned to Brazil and joined Atlético Goianiense. He made 28 appearances and netted 4 goals for the team. In 2012, a deal was finalized with Corinthians. But Vitor made no appearances for the club, as he was immediately sent on loan to Botafogo and later on to Internacional.
Vítor Júnior has two awards – one is for winning in the 2006 Croatian League and the second is for becoming the champion of the 2007 Pernambuco State League.
