Vladimir Jovančić is a Bosnian forward, born on 31 May 1987 in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia.
The player started his professional football career in 2005, when he joined his first club FCBASK. There he surprised the club’s staff with his prolific and precocious play. So, the head coach soon decided to make him a regular first-team starter. By the end of his 2-year spell with the club, Vladimir made 52 appearances and scored 14 goals for FCBASK.
In 2007 the management of FC Rad made it clear, that they would like to sign a player and Vladimir joined the side in the summer of 2007. There he once again managed to impress the coaching staff with his exceptional football talent and the first-team coach quickly realized that he wanted to see the player in starting XI as often as possible. When Jovančić left the club four years later, he added 87 appearances and 20 goals to his career stats.
In 2011 the player joined the Serbian side FC Partizan on a 3-year deal. However, his spell at the club was much shorter, as he moved to Korea just a half year and 9 appearances later, signing for the K-League outfit FC Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma.
On 12 July 2012 the forward moved on a six-month loan to FC Tianjin Teda, which represents the Chinese Super League.
