Vladimir Koman is a winger, currently playing for Ural. He was born on 16 March 1989 in Uzhgorod, Ukraine. Vladimir Koman’s father was also a footballer and played for clubs such as Dynamo Kyiv, Zakarpattya Uzhhorod, and Bukovina Chernovtsy. In 1990 the family moved to Hungary.
Vladimir Koman Jr. entered the youth system of Hungarian Szombathelyi Haladás. Already at the age of 15 he made his debut in the Hungarian Second Division, and a year later he was purchased by Italian Sampdoria.
Koman debuted in Serie A on 17 April 2005 in the match against Torino and immediately assisted on a goal. Vladimir made 4 appearances for Sampdoria, until being loaned to Avellino. After the 2008/09 season the midfielder moved to Bari, which just made it into Serie A.
In 2010 Koman returned to Sampdoria. In 2012 the midfielder moved to French Monaco, and featured in 17 matches in the first half of the 2012/13 season.
In 2012 Koman penned a deal with Russian FC Krasnodar but was soon loaned to Ural.
From 2005 to 2010 Vladimir Koman played for Hungary U17, U19, U20 and U21, totaling 34 caps and 10 goals. Since 2010 he has been called up to the national team of Hungary.
