Volodymyr Lysenko is a Ukrainian forward, born in Kiev.
Volodymyr began playing football at the age of 13 at Arsenal Kyiv sports group. In three years, in 2004, the young footballer received an offer to join Dinamo Kyiv football academy where he subsequently became a professional footballer. On 17 June 2007 the young forward made his debut for White-Blues. Later he played two more matches but had to leave the club as the footballer had no prospects in the first squad because of fierce competition.
In January 2008 Lysenko was released on loan for a year and a half to his first club Arsenal Kyiv. The forward showed good play scoring 7 goals in 31 matches. However, after returning to Dinamo in July 2009 Volodymyr turned out to be unclaimed. As a result his contract was bought out by Metalist for €1.3 million.
Being a member at the Kharkiv team the footballer took the field only occasionally not having stable game practice as well. That is why he had to join other clubs on loan. In March 2011 he was released on loan for three months to Volyn Lutsk for which he appeared 7 times. In July of the same year the footballer went on long-term loan to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih where he played 18 games scoring one goal.
In the summer of 2012 Lysenko turned back to Metalist. After a brief loan spell with Hoverla, Lysenko moved to Sevastopol in January 2014.
