Vuyo Mere. Biography

Vuyo Mere is a footballer playing for Platinum Stars as a defender. He was born on 5 March 1984 in Bloemfontein, South Africa. He came through the academies of Manguang United and Hellenic. His senior career began at Hellenic in 2001 and in 2004 he joined Mamelodi Sundowns. With Sundowns he spent six seasons making 136 appearances and in 2010/11 he was sent on loan to Moroka Swallows. In 2011 Vuyo Mere switched to Platinum Stars, where he still plays.

He earned 10 caps for the South Africa national team.
