Wánderson do Carmo, or simply Wánderson is a Brazilian footballer born on 18 February 1986 in Baturité, Brazil. He currently plays as an attacking midfielder or striker for the Russian Premier League side Krasnodar.
Wánderson embarked on his professional career in 2006 playing for such clubs as Fortaleza and Ríver Atlético Clube. But his career really picked up steam when he joined Swedish top-division side GAIS in 2007. Wánderson shortly established himself as the pillar of the team. He was even named the Allsvenskan top goalscorer with his 18 goals in the 2009 season. Overall, the Brazilian scored 32 league goals in 83 appearances during a three-year spell at the club. In 2010, he moved to the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli SC but in March 2011, Wánderson returned to his previous team GAIS.
In 2012, GAIS management sent the player on loan to Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League. At the very beginning of 2013 Wánderson signed a permanent deal with the Russian side.
