Wang Xiaolong is a Chinese midfielder who currently defends the colours of Beijing Guoan. He was born on March 11, 1986 in Beijing, the capital of China.
In 2001 Shandong Luneng scouts spotted his potential as a midfielder and he joined the club’s youth system. In 2005 Wang Xiaolong stepped up into the senior team after being treated patiently by the youth coaches. He debuted on March 29, 2006 against Shenzhen Kingway. His first goal came on September 27, 2008 in a 4-2 win over Liaoning Hongyun. While playing for the club, the industrious midfielder secured the Chinese Super League title on two occasions. In 2010 Beijing Guoan snapped up the footballer. Now he is predominantly used as a back-up option by his manager.
From 2006 to 2008 he was a regular for China U-23 when fit. In 2012 became the senior international when he was invited to the China national team.
