A Chinese footballer Wang Yun performs for Nanchang Hengyuan as a midfielder. The player was born on 28 May 1983 in Shanghai.
In 2002, Wang Yun grabbed his first pro contract with Shanghai COSCO Huili and joined the squad. At first he was mainly used as a substitute player, making only rare appearances as the member of the starting eleven. But within some time, the midfielder earned the place in the first line-up. Wang Yun spent almost nine seasons with the club, producing a solid performance. He racked up 29 goals in 219 matches. In 2011, the footballer opted to leave the club, after he’d got a very tempting proposal from Dalian Shide, which was in for an experienced midfielder. After all the terms had been agreed, the contract was penned and Wang Yun joined the new team. Unfortunately, he didn’t manage to become the team’s constant player, as the head coach preferred some other footballers, who produced far more impressive performances. Wang Yun featured only in five club’s fixtures and scored no goals.
In 2012, the midfielder signed for Nanchang Hengyuan. He continues to play for the club as a substitute, hoping to get the place in the first eleven very soon.
On international level, Wang Yun debuted for the China full side in 2006, when he participated in a game against France.
