Wesley Verhoek is a striker of Feyenoord. He was born on 25 September 1986 in Leidschendam, Netherlands.
Wesley’s career took off in 2004, when he penned a contract with ADO Den Haag. The footballer’s competitive début came on 23 January 2005 in the home 3-0 loss to F.C. Groningen. Three months later, on 23 April, the striker netted his first goal in the game versus Roda, but it did not help his club in a 4-1 loss. The young player impressed the management of ADO Den Haag and his contract was extended till the middle of 2012. Verhoek made 172 appearances and amassed 27 goals for The Hague side club during his spell.
At the beginning of 2012, Wesley penned a four-year contract with Twente and performed for the team at the position of a right forward. The footballer’s first appearance for the new club came on 24 March 2012 in the away 1-1 draw with his former squad ADO Den Haag. One week later, the player fired his first goal for Twente in the game versus Roda. The striker featured in 11 matches and found the net one time for the team till the summer 2012, when he finalized a move to Rotterdam side Feyenoord.
