Xiong Fei is a Chinese footballer who currently performs as a right-back for Shanghai Shenhua. He was born on October 21, 1987 in Wuhan, China.
Xiong Fei kicked off his youth career with Wuhan Optics Valley F.C., signing his first professional deal in 2008. However, the player didn’t play a single minute as the club was soon liquidated. In 2009 the right-back joined Nanjing Yoyo. His debut came on April 19, 2009. On July 11, 2009 the footballer netted his first goal at Nanchang Bayi. In general, Xiong Fei had a stellar campaign with the club. His progress didn’t go unnoticed and he was snapped up by Shanghai Shenhua in 2010. On August 22, 2010 the player made his first bow for the club as he was introduced as a substitute for Jiang Kun in the match against Chongqing Lifan. But due to lack of experience he had to struggle for a regular place in the starting lineup. Xiong Fei started enjoying regular football only at the end of the 2011 campaign.
