Yan Xiangchuang is a Chinese footballer who currently performs as a forward for Dalian Aerbin. He was born on September 5, 1986 in Dalian, China.
In 2000 the Chinese international began his academy scholarship with Bayi. Having a good passing completion, Yan could link well with his teammates. His impressive technique and pace in line with his eye for goal attracted the attention of scouts from Beijing Guoan and in 2004 the striker was offered his first full-time contract. His debut arrived against Shenyang Ginde on May 26, 2004. He represented the club with distinction for 7 years, making 150 starts and blasting 17 goals. The potent goalscorer also helped his team secure the Chinese Super League title in 2009. After that glory his form slumped and Yan Xiangchuang was plonked on the bench. In 2011 he was sent on loan to Dalian Shide. A year later Dalian made the move permanent. After the merge with Dalian Aerbin Yan stayed with the new club.
On June 26, 2010 the classy forward was called up to represent the China national team in the friendly match against Tajikistan.
