Yang Shanping is a Chinese defender, born on October 28, 1987 in Dalian, China.
After initially honing his craft with Dalian Yiteng’s youth system, Yang Shanping moved to Liaoning Whowin in 2003. A determined, tough-tackling player, he showed glimpses of his huge potential while playing for the junior team. In 2005 the footballer penned professional forms with the club. He first turned out in a Liaoning shirt on May 15, 2005 in the league match against Shenzhen Jianlibao. Once in the side, he didn’t intend to let the shirt go. In 2008 Yang Shanping was ruled out for the whole season. His absence alongside with the club’s poor form led to Liaoning’s relegation from the Chinese Super League. In 2009 he aided his team to win promotion to the top division.
In 2014 Shanping Yang moved to Dalian Aerbin.
