Yann Jouffre is a halfback of Lorient. He was born on 23 July 1984 in a French city Montélimar.
In 2001, Yann officially became a senior player of Nimes Olympique after penning his first contract. He stayed with the club for two seasons. The footballer made occasional appearances during his first season. His performance went forward at a steady gait the following season. From 2007 to 2009, Jouffre took part in 42 fixtures of the club and scored 5 goals.
In 2003, the young player received the offer for further cooperation with Guingamp. As he wasn’t a part of the head coach’s plan of his previous club, he lacked the playing practice and hoped to step up the game in a new one. In the summer 2003, he officially became a part of the team. Yann gave a good account of himself and managed to feature almost in every game. He belted 12 goals into the net in 117 matches during his spell with the club.
In 2008, Jouffre attracted attention of various top-flight clubs. Lorient passed ahead of all the other football clubs and the dealt was finalized very quickly. In the summer 2008, Yann moved to his new club. Since then, the footballer made more than 40 appearances and amassed 3 goals during 4 years and continues to come on the pitch rather often.
In 2003, he was capped one time for the France national U-19 team.
