Yann Kermorgant is a striker of Charlton Athletic. He was born on 8 November 1981 in Vannes, France.
In 2002, Yann started to play for Vannes OC, where he had to face high competition for a place in the main squad. The footballer coped with that problem and amassed 11 goals in 49 fixtures for the club during two seasons, which drew the attention of various French teams.
In 2004, Kermorgant completed a move to Châtellerault and scored 14 goals in 29 matches during one year. The striker became a tempting transfer target despite his price rose exponentially.
In 2005, Yann penned a contract with Grenoble, made 58 appearances and netted 16 goals during two seasons. In 2007, the footballer’s services were secured by Stade Reims, where he fired 13 goals in 66 games during two years as well.
In 2009, Kermorgant moved to English side Leicester City and went on loan to Arles-Avignon one year later. The striker took part in 26 fixtures and went on to net three times for the temporary team during his spell.
In 2011, Yann returned to his parent Leicester City, but not for long. In the summer the same year, the footballer sealed a deal with Charlton Athletic and managed to chip in 15 goals in 44 matches for the new club as of November 2012.
