Ye Jia is a footballer of Tai Po who can play either midfielder of striker. He was born on 1 December 1981 in Shanghai, China. He played at the amateur Chinese team Shanghai Tiannuo and in 2003 he gave a start to his professional playing career joining Shanghai Jiucheng competing in China League Two. There he gained his first professional experience being used as a substitute. After Ye Jia left the team he had a stint at Rangers (HKG). In 2007 he joined Tai Po, the following season he helped the side to win Hong Kong FA Cup. Since 2010 he’s been a part of the Hong Kong national team.
