Yevgeni Balyaikin is a midfielder who plays for Krylia Sovetov. He was born on May 19, 1988 in Bratsk, Russia.
Yevgeni began his junior career at his hometown side Sibiryak, subsequently signing a professional deal with the club. From 2004 to 2006 Balyaikin made 72 appearances and scored 8 goals for Sibiryak.
In the winter of 2007 the footballer signed a 5-year contract with Rubin. During his 2007-2012 spell at the club Yevgeni featured in 44 matches. From 2011 to 2012 he played for Tom on loan, making 29 appearances and scoring 1 goal. On 1 July 2012 Balyaikin completed a move to Krylia Sovetov.
From 2009 to 2010 Yevgeni was called up to the Russia U21 squad for 9 matches.
