Yōsuke Kashiwagi is a Japanese midfielder currently playing for Urawa Red Diamonds in the J. League Division 1. He was born on 15 December 1987 in Kobe, Japan.
Groomed at Sanfrecce Hiroshima youth system, Yōsuke joined the first team of the club in 2006. He shortly cemented his position in the central midfield and became a regular first team player. In 2008, Kashiwagi helped his side to win the J. League Division 2 and promote to the top flight. Overall he made 112 appearances for four seasons at the club. In 2010, Kashiwagi moved to Urawa Red Diamonds where he plays today. In between 2010 and 2012, he scored 16 goals in 97 matches for his new team.
Yōsuke Kashiwagi is capped to the Japan national team since 2010. He made several appearances for Japan who won the AFC Asian Cup in 2011.
