Yves De Winter is a goalkeeper of AZ. He was born on 25 May 1987 in Lier, Belgium.
Yves’s career took off in local amateur Bevel and Nijlen, where he was noticed by Westerlo scouts. The young player soon joined the new club and made several significant achievements, which were not left unnoticed.
In 2006 De Winter moved to the main team after penning a five-year contract with ‘De Kemphanen’ and made his début for the club on 1 October 2006 in the home 1-2 loss to Brugge. The goalkeeper made 27 appearances, one time saw yellow and was sent off once during his spell.
After his contract expired in the 2011/2012 season, Yves completed a move to Dutch side De Graafschap. The keeper made his maiden appearance for the new club in the home Eredivisie match against NEC, which ended in a 1-0 loss. De Winter featured in 26 games (8 of which were wins) for the team and sealed a deal with AZ.
