Zé Eduardo plays as a forward for Genoa. He was born on October 29, 1987 in Promissão, Brazil.
José started his professional career in 2004 when he signed a contract with Palmeiras. He took part in 2 matches for half a year. In 2005 Eduardo played for Portuguesa Santista and Atlético Paranaense.
In 2006 the Brazilian forward signed a contract with Cruzeiro but he never played for this club. From 2006 to 2009 Eduardo played for Bragantino, Ipatinga, Villa Nova, Sport, Grêmio, Ferroviária, Pinheiros, Fortaleza, São Caetano, América, ABC. Altogether Eduardo took part in 27 matches for 11 football clubs.
In 2010 Zé Eduardo signed a permanent contract with Santos, where he spent the 2010-2011 season. During this period he took part virtually in all the matches of the championship, scoring 10 goals in 29 matches. In 2011 Eduardo caught the eye of the Italian club Genoa. In the summer 2011 the footballer signed a contract with Genoa and in summer 2012 he was loaned to Siena.
