Zhao Yanming is a Chinese goalkeeper, born on 16 January 1981 in Tianjin, China.
Zhao got ready to his professional career start at the youth football academy of FC Tianjin Teda, where he debuted with its youth team in 1998. Shortly he established himself as a hot prospect for the future, demonstrating his promising goalkeeping talent. He was often chosen to the youth squad’s starting XI at different levels and soon got his first-team chance in 2003, when signed a professional deal with the club.
In 2006 Yanming was given a chance to shine at the highest level, as the squad’s second choice goalie Liu Yunfei left the club. During this season, Zhao was fighting for the first-team role with the fellow team member Tian Xu and finally established himself as a first choice goalkeeper at the end of the campaign, helping his team finish sixth in the league.
However, despite his consistent performances, he failed to become a regular first-team starter with a new head coach the next season, as the club bought a more experienced player for the goalkeeper’s position. Currently he continues to develop his skills, as a second choice goalie in the club.
