Zheng Kaimu is a Chinese defender who currently represents Shanghai Shenhua. He was born on January 28, 1992 in Huangshi, China.
Aged 8, Zheng moved to Shanghai and entered the Genbao Football Base in the year of 2000 before heading back to Hubei and joining the Wuhan Optics Valley junior team in 2008. The player was on the fringes of the first team squad but suddenly the club was withdrawn.
In 2009 the Hubei government created a new club called Hubei Greenery. It was there that the young footballer launched his professional career. After six months with the club Zheng Kaimu moved to Shanghai East Asia. But he failed to break into the starting line-up and had to warm the bench. His debut arrived on April 22, 2010. In 2011 the footballer departed the team having made only 8 starts. Zheng Kaimu signed for Chongqing F.C. and helped his new club get promotion to the Chinese Jia League the following year. His brilliant form earned him a switch to Shanghai Shenhua in 2012. On March 10 the club’s fans saw Zheng Kaimu in action for the first time.
