Zoran Tošić is a left winger of Serbian descent who plays for CSKA Moscow. He was born on 28 April 1987 in Zrenjanin, SFR Yugoslavia.
He launched his senior career at Proleter Zrenjanin in 2005. During 2006/07 season he played for Banat Zrenjanin, featuring in 25 matches and scoring 2 goals. In 2007 Zoran sealed a four-year deal with Partizan Belgrade. From 2007 to 2009 he registered 49 appearances and netted 14 goals for Partizan.
In the winter of 2008 Tošić signed a contract with Manchester United. Zoran was given the shirt number 14 by his manager. During the 2009/10 season he was used as a back-up, registering only 2 appearances. In January 2010 Tošić was loaned out to 1. FC Köln, where spent the rest of the season, blasting 5 goals in 13 matches.
In 2010 Tošić completed a move to CSKA Moscow for an undisclosed fee, signing a five-year contract. On 15 August 2010 he fired home his debut goal in the league match between CSKA and Anzhi Makhachkala. He blasted two goals into Spartak’s net, helping CSKA to win 2-1 at Luzhniki Stadium. He also secured a 3-1 victory against Lokomotiv, netting two goals and thus helping his club to finish third in the 2011/12 Russian Premier League.
