AGF (AGF Aarhus or Aarhus Gymnastikforening) is a sport club in Denmark founded in 1880; it is one of the oldest clubs in the country. Initially gymnastics and fencing were the main sports but later many other were introduced. Football was included in the list of sports in 1902.
The team won five Danish Superliga titles and eight times they finished runners-up, they won eight Danish Cup tournaments and twice finished it runners-up. The 2005/06 season was a failure as such a titular team faced relegation. Nevertheless they returned to the top flight the following season.
During its long history AGF twice succeeded to reach the quarter-final of Euripoern tournaments: in 1961 it was the European Champion Clubs' Cup and in 1989 it was the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.
AFG play their home matches at NRGi Park. The capacity of the stadium is 20,032. Their kit colors are white and blue.
