NK Aluminij is a Slovenian club from Kidričevo founded in 1946.
Until 1991, the club competed in various Yugoslavian leagues and even recorded the Slovenian Republic Cup in 1965. After Slovenia got independence in 1991, they began to play in the Slovenian Third League and won promotion to the second tier in the 1996/97 season. For more than 10 years, Aluminij competed in the 2.SNL though always finishing in upper half of the table. In the 2001/02 season, they reached the Slovenian Cup finals – their best result ever, but eventually lost to Gorica and finished as runners-up. In the 2011/12 campaign, Aluminij topped the Slovenian Second League and won their first ever ticket to thу top flight where they compete today.
Aluminij are often nicknamed the Foresters. They play their home games at Kidričevo Sports Park which can hold up to 600 spectators.
