BSK Borča is a Serbian club from Belgrade. It was founded in spring 1937. The club had performed in various regional leagues during the largest part of its history, but in the mid-1990s, the new management drew massive investment and promoted the club’s growth.
The worst seasons for the club since its formation were 1990/1991 and 1991/1992, when it was relegated to the First Division Belgrade, and eventually to the Second Division Belgrade. The club’s rise began in 1993, with Dragomir Vasić becoming the chairman, who stabilized the financial situation and extended the home ground capacity to 1,000 extra seats. The club has begun to move up and gained the promotion to the Second League of the Federative Republic of Yugoslavia in 1998.
They gained the promotion to the First League in 2006 and progressed to the play-off round for the Serbian SuperLiga spot in the first two seasons, 2006/2007 and 2007/2008. After neglecting both opportunities, they won promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga in their third attempt, in the 2008/2009 season. However, in 2013 they were relegated to the First League.
The club’s home ground is Vizelj park, which has 2,500 seats. The home colour of the team is blue, and the away colour is white.
