Dijon Football Côte d’Or is a football club in France named after the city it is located in. It was established in 1998, when two city clubs Cercle Dijon Football and Dijon FC merged.
Since its foundation in 1998 team had two seasons in the Championnat de France amateur and then spent seven consecutive seasons in the second division. In the 2010/11 season Dijon finished third in Ligue 2 and won promotion to the top flight. After a season they were relegated back.
The team’s home venue is Stade Gaston Gérard, which has a capacity of 16,098 seats.
