FC Dinamo Minsk is a football club in Belarus, located in the capital city. Dinamo Sports Society was founded in 1923 and football was introduced in 1927. In 1962 the team was finally named Dinamo Minsk, and before that they had been named Dinamo Minsk, then Spartak Minsk and Belarus Minsk.
During the period of the Belarusian SSR Dinamo Minsk played mostly in the Soviet Top League and in 1982 claimed the Soviet Top League title. In 1937, 1938, 1939, 1945, 1951, 1956 and 1975 the team won Belarusian SSR League trophies.
Since the dissolution of USSR and till 2012 Dinamo Minsk won 7 Belarusian Premier League titles, in 1992, 1994 and 2003 the team won Belarusian Cup titles.
Dinamo-Yuni Stadium is their home venue. The stadium has a capacity of 4,500.
