FC Dnepr is a football club in Belarus, located in Mogilev. It was founded in 1960 and initially had the name of Khimik Mogilev, and then its name was changed to Spartak Mogilev and Dnepr Mogilev. In 1998 the team merged with Transmash Mogilev and a newly formed team became Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev. Since 2006 they have the name of FC Dnepr.
During the Soviet period the team mostly competed at the third level, has three seasons at the second level and one at the fourth. Since Belarus became independent in 1992 the team has played in Belarusian Premier League up to the year of 2012, when they played in the second tier. Among the achievements is Belarusian Premier League title, which they won in 1998. In 1992 they won silver medal and in 2009 claimed bronze.
Spartak Stadion in Mogilev, which is Dnepr’s home venue, has a capacity of 11,200 seats.
