NK Domžale is a Slovenian football team from Domžale. Founded in 1921 as SK Disk, the club turns to be one of the oldest clubs in Slovenian football.
With the Slovenian PrvaLiga inception in 1991, the club got a spot in the tournament but they got off to a bad start finishing 19th in the league table and were classed down to the Slovenian Second League. Domžale led a largely unremarked existence as a second-tier team until 1998 when they finally broke into the top flight. However, they enjoyed a meteoric rise in the mid-2000s. Domžale finished as PrvaLiga runners-up in 2005 and 2006, and in the 2006/07 season they eventually claimed their first league title and recorded the Slovenian Supercup. In the next campaign the club won the title once again. The year 2011 brought them much success as Domžale welcomed the Slovenian Cup and another Slovenian Supercup to their trophy cabinet. On the European scene, the team took part in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League.
Domžale players are often nicknamed the Brigands. They play their home matches at Sports Park which can host up to 2,813 spectators.
