Enosis Neon Paralimni is a football club in Cyprus, located in Paralimni. The club was founded as a result of the merger of People’s Love and Heracles, two teams from Paralimni, which occurred in 1944. The year of 1936 is considered to be the club’s birth year, but in fact that is the year when Heracles was established.
Enosis made their debut in 1945 in the home match against German prisoners of war. The club was based in a village and that prevented them to become a member of the Cyprus Football Association till mid-1960s. In 1965 Enosis was allowed to compete in the second division. In 1968/69 the team was first in its division thus promoted to the top flight for the first time. Since then they’ve competed in the first division.
In 1974/75 Enosis finished the Cypriot First Division second and in 1973/74, 1974/75, 1980/81 and 1982/83 they were runners-up at the Cypriot Cup tournaments.
