Irtysh is a Kazakh football club from the city of Pavlodar that appeared in 1965.
The club’s trophy cabinet welcomed its first silverware in 1993 when the side claimed the title of the league and since that moment the team managed to repeat that success four times (1997, 1999, 2002, 2003), also winning the 1998 Kazakhstan Cup. The recent seasons were less successful for Irtysh and during the late 2000s stood at a strong mid-table position.
The team hosts its home games at the Central Stadium that can hold up to 15,000. The chairman is Bakhyt Baibutayev.
The best achievement of the team in the Asian Club Championship is the fourth place in the season 2000/2001.
