JJK Jyväskylä is a football club in Finland, named after the city it is located in. The team JJK (Jyväskylän Jalkapalloklubi) was formed as a result of a merger of two football clubs in Jyväskylä: JYP-77 and JyPK (Jyväskylän Pallokerho).
JyPK had a long history, founded in 1923, they began to compete in professional football leagues in 1928 and reached the third heist division in 1976. In 1977 a new team was formed, JYP-77. These two teams merged in 1992 and the following year they promoted to the third level, Kakkonen. In 1995 JJK advanced to Ykkönen but in 1998 they relegated back. In 2000 the team was renamed to JJK Jyväskylä and up to the year of 2006 they competed in Kakkonen before they promoted to Ykkönen. In 2008 they earned promotion to the top flight but got relegated in 2013.
Harjun Stadion in Jyväskylä, where JJK play their home matches, has a capacity of 5,000.
