KuPS or Kuopion Palloseura is a football club in Finland, located in the city of Kuopio. It was founded in 1923 and in the period between 1949 and 1992 the team competed in the top division of the Finnish football.
They claimed domestic championship victories in 1956, 1958, 1966, 1974 and 1976. In 1968 and 1989 KuPS won Finnish Cup.
Between 1995 and 2000 the team spent five seasons in Ykkönen and had a season in Kakkonen. In 2000 they won promotion to the top flight and since then they competed in Veikkausliiga except 2004 and 2007 seasons, when the team played in Ykkönen.
KuPS play their home matches at Savon Sanomat Areena, which has a capacity of 5,000.
