Le Havre Athletic Club or Le HAC is a football club, named after the city Le Havre. The sports club was initially an athletics and rugby club, funded in 1872 and football was officially introduced in 1894. The team won their first French Championship in 1899, 1900 and 1919. At that time it was named USFSA Championnat.
Throughout its history and up to the year of 2012 the team won Ligue 2 in 1938, 1959, 1985, 1991 and 2008. In 1959 they were the winners of Coupe de France.
Stade Océane is their home venue, which was constructed in 2012. It has a capacity of 25,178 seats. The club has a youth academy to foster young talents.
