Lokomotiv Tashkent

History and achievements

Lokomotiv Tashkent is a football club from Uzbekistan that was established in 2002. In the season 2002/2003 the side started competing in the First League and subsequently earned a ticket to the top flight.

From 2004 to 2010 the club played in Uzbek top league and even managed to finish 6th in 2009. The club was relegated to the First League in 2010, yet a season later Lokomotiv bounced back. In 2012 the team climbed to the 3rd position.

The home ground of the team is Lokomotiv Stadium that can sit up to 8000 supporters.
