Szombathelyi Haladás is a Hungarian football side that represents the city of Szombathely in the OTP Bank Liga.
The club started life in 1919. In 1936 the team stepped up into the top division for the first ever time. Haladás experienced lots of ups and downs throughout its history. In the 2002/2003 season Hali reached the Hungarian Cup final only to fall on Újpest. However, the league campaign wasn’t successful at all as the club made the drop to Nemzeti Bajnokság II. Promotion followed only in 2008 after Haladás was crowned second division champions. That year also saw the side make a 1-1 draw with Arsenal in a pre-season friendly encounter.
In the 2008/2009 campaign Haladás claimed a surprising third-place finish. That meant that the club could take part in the Europa League qualification. However, the side was beaten by Elfsborg in the second round.
Since 1923 the team has been playing at Stadion Rohonci Út.
